amazing plants. For this project we are calming down and focusing

on New Zealand's trees. For our project we have chosen the Ponga tree.

This term we have been learning about plants. A few weeks ago we went to Tahuna Torea in Glendowie. I had to make graffiti page about is and this is how it turned out!

Last week we were sent to make a diorama. What is a diorama you ask? Well a diorama is a 3D presentation that is made by yourself. You can use as many materials as you want. In this diorama my group has made mangroves. 

The materials we used was-

Paint

Cardboard

Box

Green, purple, blue, yellow and white paper

And pencils

DLO on Ascension Day

My Understanding of Ascension Day

 

Yesterday was Ascension Day also the day that Jesus ascended up to heaven.

We had to create a DLO of it write a reflection about it.

Our Trip to Tahuna Torea

 This Term the Te Wairua Pakiki Space has been learning about plants and how they grow. Our teachers organised a trip with Glen Innes School to learn about plants even more!
