I am a year 7 student in Te Wairua Pakiki 6 Learning Space at St. Pius X Catholic School in Auckland, New Zealand. My teachers Miss Nees-Kairua and Mrs Tui.
My Coment is a quality comment because. I was using specific languge. I wanted to be kind and creative.
I told them that everyone is the same. Also only used power greetings and one power word.
My name is Rachel and I am working with the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) programme this year. I see that you have been practicing your quality commenting. That is great! It's so important that we learn how to communicate with one another positively when we are online, isn't it? Speaking of positive blog commenting, I am spending my summer doing exactly that (posting positive blog comments)! I am working with the Summer Learning Journey blogging team this year. It is a free programme for students from schools around New Zealand, including Saint Pius X!
This year we are learning about the world around us. We have 60 different activities that you can complete, all of which are related to the theme. They can found on our website (www.summerlearningjourney.co.nz) under the 'Weekly Activities' tab. You will find links to all of the activities on this tab and you are welcome to read through the activities and choose one that interests you. You don't have to do them all!
To complete an activity please post your answer here on your blog. Our team will read your post and provide a comment. We will also give you points and come back at the end of the summer with prizes for the top bloggers at Saint Pius X school. We have some pretty cool prizes this year!
I hope that you will have time to join us on our learning journey.
