I am David - Chapter 1 - Pg 1 to 3 - David Gets Away

This term we have our own group reading books. They are all online and there is only three reading groups. My group is reading a book called I am David. It is about a young boy (older than me but still a child) who is 12 years old. He lives at a concentration camp. He has to escape to a country called Denmark. We have been reading Chapter 1, Pg 1 - 3 just seeing what happens.

Sky High 1 - Literacy - Reading

Today in our google meet Me and Miss Nees-Kairua were the only ones to attend the reading secession. Our story was called Sky High. It was a comic strip about miners who had to take over the German shaft. It was quite a cool story at first but then it was sad because the leader (also known as sarge) died.

Super Weirdo's Class Novel (Fiction) Chapter 1-3

Today in class Miss Nees- Kairua starter reading us a fantastic book that was illustrated and written by one of her friends from school who is now a teacher, the one and only Mr Mac! Him and Miss Nees-Kairua challenged everyone who has the book that who ever blogs or sends the best work to him might be able to get a prize. If we win he has to buy us Ice cream and chocolate and if they win its the other way around!

Reading Test

Reading Test

This Morning we were getting ready to do our reading test. Mrs. Tui came in to help us to get organised. We checked if our netbooks were charged and then we got started. First we typed in google www.nzceronline.org.nz and we put our password into the box. Next Miss Nees-Kairua put the timer on and we read. After we read the story, we answered the questions. My favorite story was Pavlova Queen. At the end of the test there was other question that said "Did you like the test?" and I answered agree. And that is that end of my reading test. Thank you!
